If you've yet to experience the views from The Point Revolving Restaurant, get together with family or friends for a smashing high tea on a Friday afternoon. The Point is one of Hobart's premier restaurants and high tea is a great way to sample the chef's artistic creations while enjoying five-star service. See the light change on the River Derwent and Mount Wellington as you tuck into a fabulous selection of cakes, pastries, petit fours and open sandwiches. Yachts and ducks look exquisitely tiny from this amazing vantage point. And don't worry about motion sickness - the revolving experience is of the most tranquil sort. During your high tea, the 17th floor moves at a very gentle pace revealing a 360 degree view of Hobart's spectacular cityscape. All you need to do is luxuriate in the comfortable surrounds, sip on a latte, spoil yourself with a delicious cake, and watch the world go by.
