Editorial Review

So we all know about Crowded House. The New Zealand ex-pats are one of the most successful bands to come out of Australia ever. Albums like Temple Of Low Men and Woodface established them as international stars and the group enjoyed a string of hit singles with Something So Strong, Better Be Home Soon and Weather With You.

The group's Farewell to the World show in 1996 saw over 100,000 people turn out for a free concert at the Sydney Opera House, and remains one of the largest concerts Australia has ever staged. While the respective members all went on to do their own thing afterwards - bands, TV, radio, songwriting etc - rumours of a reunion began to gather pace in recent years and, after nearly a decade apart, Crowded House was officially reinstated in 2007.

Making up for lost time, they've since released a brand new album, Time On Earth, and hit the international tour circuit. Following headline appearance at the Coachella Music Festival and Australian leg of the Live Earth tour, they're now undertaking a run of smaller, more intimate shows around the country. The band are performing tracks from both their new release and back catalogue, so expect tickets to be swiftly snapped up.
