Editorial Review
While the building may have seen many incarnations in its time, the most recent fit-out for the Duke of Wellington is proving quite popular. Capturing all the feel of your local pub - cosy, rowdy when it needs to be and well-spoken for when it comes to beer, wine and spirits - but sporting the affectations of a modern bistro, the Duke is now home to wine buffs, music fans and those in need of a good, wood-fired pizza.
Attracting your more seasoned crowd, the Duke puts on a fare selection of decent pub grub, ranging from steaks and parmas to gourmet pizzas and pasta - a nice place for a feed, not to mention the ideal after-work hangout for a few brews. Speaking of which, the Duke is now proud home to Tassie's own Moorilla estate's miro-brew, Moo Brew. Handcrafted with tender, loving care, grab a pint with your next steak or pizza for a very satisfying experience. Naturally, the other beers on tap (James Squire, Coopers Pale Ale and Boags) will likewise quench that thirst.
So sit back in some comfy furniture (which kinda feel s like it was passed down from each refurb), make friends with that beer or wine and relax for an evening of live music. Nice!
